Guacamole Nights @ George & Dragon (London)

Monday, February 10th, 2003

Press Release
Guacamole Nights

Every Monday From 19:00 PM to 23:00 PM
George and Dragon, 2 Hackney Road, London E2

24/7 is honoured to announce the start of its 2003 guacamole season presenting a series of Guacamole Pub Nights in collaboration with the prestigious Shoreditch public house George and Dragon. Every Monday, starting April 7th 2003, 24/7 will invite a guest artist-chef to prepare their own version of guacamole.

Our first guest artist-chef is Alejandra Davila, also known as beauty queen Miss Jalisco. On following Mondays, artists and curators such as Yoko Brown, Fernando Botitas, Stuart Comer, House of Jazz, Willy Wink and the Monclova Cowboys among others will continue offering guacamole to the friends and clients of the George and Dragon. If you are interested in preparing your own version of guacamole, please contact us so we can arrange a date for your participation.

24/7 is a low budget gallery, which used to exhibit the work of young Latin American artists living in London and abroad whose work questioned the conventional clichés and representations of cultural production from Latin America.

24/7 now exhibits whatever, whenever, wherever.

Special thanks to Richard Battye.
